Earn by Time or Earn per Offer? My experience after trying it today : r/doordash_drivers
Reply DashinDave_ • 11 days ago I used to be lol. I think they originally tried launching EBT in my market last year but it didn’t stick around (testing it I guess?) and after seeing a lot of the posts about it here, I figured it was a waste of time anyways.

ALWAYS paid $7.00. Did it today. $4.72. They scalped my base pay to $1.72. After 3 deliveries (Hour and 34 Minutes Dash Time) I made $13.75. I just tried this today for lunch out of curiosity, as I have been gettin trash this week with not being a TD, and the Accept more earn more program being live in my market.

What does every one think of the new pilot? Earn by time : r/doordash somewhat new to doordash, I did it last year in november, but totaled my car and just now getting back into it. earn by time wasnt an option for me before, and i tried it last night and thought the pay was too little ($13/hr+tips should total to more than $13.20 for 1 hour imo), i googled it and DD only pays for active time while I’ve accepted

Is it worth it or should I stick with per order? I seem to generally make closer to 30 sometimes more per hour on per order. I tend to stick with evening and overnight shifts.
DoorDash Dasher Review 2024: How Doordash Works
starSkieee • 3 mo. ago I’ve always done earn by order, but made $25/hr yesterday trying out earn by time yesterday. Done earn by time this morning and got a $3 and $8 tip as well on only orders taken. Tried doing earn by time during a boost last night and got nothing but no tip shit orders. My conclusions, who knows. 14/hr earn by time option : r/doordash

i know my per hour earnings are kinda crap but it’s my first “full time” week dashing and i’m proud of myself 🙂 : r/doordash absolutely DeerParkVegan • 1 yr. ago I’d say 25 bucks an hour would be required to get me to Dash on the clock. That being said, if you pay me $25 an hour, I will drive to any store you want and deliver wherever you want in my zone. And none of that bullshit about active dash time either.
