Changing your oil based off of the sticker that the oil change place prints is almost always unnecessary, but changing your oil too often hurts nothing but your wallet. If your using a good synthetic oil you can go 5-6000 between changes. Changing it early hurts nothing though. I’m not sure what your sticker says
